Our 8-week paid summer internship program offers a wide range of opportunities across multiple departments and divisions within our growing company. Typically, internship programs are held in June and July but are subject to change based on interest and department needs.
Hands-On, Real-World Experience
Our interns work on projects that support teams in delivering exceptional homes and communities. You’ll gain hands-on experience while developing a deeper understanding of how your studies translate into a professional environment. Whether assisting with project planning, analyzing budgets, supporting design selections, or visiting active job sites, you’ll gain meaningful insight into how the homebuilding industry operates day to day.
Professional Development and Learning
The Foundation offers on-the-job training paired with structured skill-building workshops to provide an environment that fosters learning and growth. You will receive valuable feedback and guidance from your leaders along with helpful resources and tools to strengthen both your technical and professional skills, preparing you for long-term career success.
Networking and Relationship Building
Interns at Risewell Homes are part of our community. You’ll have opportunities to connect with leaders across multiple departments and divisions, collaborate with peers, and form relationships that last well beyond the program.
Going into my internship, I didn’t know much about land acquisition — I just knew I was curious and eager to learn about the homebuilding industry. I never expected how much I’d gain in just two months. From day one, I was given meaningful, hands-on work and surrounded by mentors who were always there to teach me, answer any question, and support me along the way. In addition, I learned how each department contributes to bringing a community to life and gained real experience working on active deals. What started as a learning opportunity became so much more — I built lasting connections, developed valuable skills, and grew confident enough to take the next step in my career. By the end of my internship, I felt fully supported and prepared to continue my journey as a Land Acquisition Analyst after being offered a full-time position. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how I went from knowing almost nothing to having the knowledge and experience to succeed as an analyst.

My time at Risewell Homes has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
